Information on sessions, classes and holidays of Massage Therapy School in New Jersey

Class Schedule

Classes meet Monday and Tuesday (Sundays for The Winter Class) 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm for PowerPoint presentations and hands-on clinic. Individual tutorial classes are held Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm to complete the required 500 hours of the NJ Massage Program. Home tutorial assignments will be in addition to class hours. All hours are supervised by faculty.

Attendance

At orientation students will be given a calendar of classroom clinic and individual tutorial classes, reviews and examination dates. Students must notify the school if they intend to miss class and prepare to makeup these hours. Individual tutorial classes are held Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Leave of Absence

Students in good standing who are unable to complete the program for personal reasons must seek a Leave of Absence in writing. If a leave is granted, a student may remain matriculated and return at a later time for completion.

Grading Policies

Students work will be evaluated for their academic performance on test, projects and assignments. Written exams will be given in Anatomy and Physiology, and other academic courses. Practical evaluations will be given in the clinical training area.

The following grades will be use:

A	90-100
B	80-89
C	70-79
Failure below 69

Students must maintain a 75% average for good standing. Below this grade students can be tutored at a fee of $40.00 per hour.

Official transcripts will be maintained by the JSG School of Massage Therapy and available upon request after completion of the program.
